Please carry any recent lab reports, scans, prescriptions and a list of current medicines (allopathic or otherwise). Older reports relevant to your chief complaint are also useful.

Yes. We never ask you to stop life-saving or chronic medication suddenly. Homeopathy can run alongside your existing treatment. As your condition improves, your treating physician can taper the conventional medicines.

How long does homeopathic treatment take to show results?

It's a myth that homeopathy is slow. Acute conditions like fever, cough, diarrhoea and viral infections often respond within hours to days. Chronic illnesses take longer because we are treating the underlying pattern — typically you should see meaningful change within 4–8 weeks.

Why do my symptoms sometimes feel worse before they get better?

In chronic conditions, especially skin disease, a brief apparent flare can occur as the body re-organises. This is part of the phasic nature of the illness, not a side effect of the medicine. Stay in touch with us — it usually settles within a short period.

Yes. Dr. Rajeshwari Yadav has a special focus on paediatric care — recurrent colds and tonsillitis, asthma, eczema, allergies, behavioural and developmental concerns. Homeopathic medicines are safe, sweet to taste and well accepted by children.

Why must I keep a gap before and after taking the medicine?

Accepted Answer

The medicine has to come in contact with the nerves on the tongue. Anything else in the mouth — food, drink, toothpaste — interferes with absorption. A 20–30 minute gap before and after is ideal.

How many globules (sweet pills) do I take per dose?

Unless the envelope says otherwise, take 8 globules per dose. Always follow the dose written on your envelope.

How do I take medicine from a dropper vial?

Accepted Answer

For a clear liquid, 4 drops mixed with 2 teaspoons of plain water at room temperature is one dose. For a coloured liquid (mother tincture), 8 drops in the same amount of water. Alternatively, the drops can be put directly on the tongue.

Should I chew the globules or let them dissolve?

Let them dissolve under or on the tongue. Do not chew or swallow them with water.

Can I take homeopathic medicine on an empty stomach?

Yes. In fact homeopathy works best 20 minutes before a meal. The first dose of the day on a completely empty stomach is ideal.

What should I avoid while on homeopathic treatment?

Avoid very sour foods and drinks in large quantity, raw onion and garlic, and any food with a very strong lingering flavour. Strong-smelling oils, balms and perfumes near the time of dose can reduce the medicine's effect. Two to three cups of coffee per day are fine.

How and where should I store my medicines?

Keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong odours. The refrigerator is not ideal because food odours can be trapped inside. Globules and dropper vials stay effective for about a year; plain liquid medicines without a dropper should be finished within 15 days of dispensing.

Almost never. Each medicine has a specific order and gap. Always follow the schedule written on the envelopes, and call the clinic if you are unsure.

How do I give medicine to a patient on Ryle's tube or PEG feeding?

Accepted Answer

Mix 4 drops with 2 teaspoons of plain water and administer through the feeding tube. If possible, also place 2 drops directly on the tongue or inner lower lip. Confirm the exact protocol with the clinic for the specific patient.

If I get a sudden fever or infection while on treatment, what should I do?

Call the clinic first. Acute illnesses — fever, throat infection, diarrhoea, vomiting, conjunctivitis — often respond beautifully to homeopathy and the acute symptoms also guide us to a deeper, better-fitting remedy for your chronic case.

Should I take allopathic medicines for quick relief during an acute problem?

We prefer to handle the acute episode with homeopathy first whenever it is safe to do so. With repeated homeopathic care for acute episodes, the frequency of such attacks usually reduces over time. In a true emergency, please go to the nearest hospital and inform us afterwards.

If you have been given a home medical kit by the clinic, call us and we will guide you to the right remedy from your kit. Please do not self-prescribe from the kit without speaking to us.

For chronic conditions, a follow-up every 4 weeks is typical. For acute problems, contact us immediately. Online follow-ups are available.
